Software selection

Software selection is a common task when migrating some of the activities to open-source. The process involves setting a task list for the software and the search for the program that comes close to the task list. This process allows for one (or more) activities within an organiozation to become open-source based while keeping all features needed. It may be possible that some activities cannot be matched by open-source software.
