Implementation outline
We believe that a web site offers an
entirely different publishing system that traditional media. Therefore,
the proces of building a web site has some particularities that has to
be taken into account. Most of these particularities comes from
the site's content. Although many sites gives a greather importance
to the graphic design it is the content and its evolution that keeps
your user comming back.
1. Site content
What is the content of the site? What are the relations between content
units? In this stage a site diagram is created in which the content of
each page and the relations between pages is established.
2. Site navigation
Site navigation means links, menus, shortcuts, everything that helps
the users to move from page to page, back and forth and to jump from
one resource to another.
3. Graphic design
Graphic design enhances the user experience and highlights certain
content units. Graphic design can be innovative, deering, classic,
modern. However, should help the content visibility and not
overcome it.
4. Site user interaction
User interaction can be as simple as a contact form or much more
complex. Q&A sections, forums, weblogs, free resources (images,
software. multimedia). The richness of the user interaction system
depends on a number of factors such as: the target audience, the
intensity of your web presence and many others.
